If I had the time, I would like to play back through all of these games. I really want a remastered demons and dark 1. I am sure I missed a bunch of side quest items in both games.
This game is providing an ample challenge for me. Based on playtime, it's right in line with Dark Souls as I have about 43 hours in and I am in the Profane Capital. I only have 1 lord of cinder down and maybe half of the bosses. The difficulty in these games lies in learning enemy tendencies...
I noticed that also but wow has my success rate in defeating invaders sky rocketed. These guys use cheap tactics but if you are aggressive, then they are usually pretty easy to defeat.
The latest patch is practically game breaking. You can't connect to the game servers and must play offline and the frame rate dips constantly. Never had a frame rate problem before and now it is Blightown bad but every few seconds or so.
I have the Uchi at +4 and it's a beast and causes bleed damage after 3 or 4 hits. I'd lack to stack the bleed damage so I am waiting for a bloodbite gem. I am wearing the ring which also helps.
Dodging seems to be far more important and circle strafing is not as viable. I think they made the enemies more aggressive and gave them moves to counter turtling behind a shield and circling left. I found diving to the side of an enemy to be successful so far.
Found the short cut to the bottom of the high wall and then got my @$$ kicked in by none other than a red eye knight! Still have not used a shield and I am currently dual wielding a +1 deep battle axe and a +1 uchigatana.
This game is amazing.
I am liking it a lot. Reminds me of Demons and Dark 1. Trying a different playstyle this time so it feels every bit as challenging as the older games.
I am at first bonfire at High Lothric Wall. I am struggling with crowd control combined with ranged enemies throwing firebombs or shooting...
