No, innovation should definitely NOT stop...

I say it will with video cards some day. What happens when they get so fast that they can create a truely life like image that runs at 60fps easy. Why would we need to go faster? Because it would be as realistic as possible.

I think thats WAAAY off because with 3D screens, the resolution is effectively doubled.
