if by griefing you mean randoms dropping in you can switch to friends only

your teammate actually has to call in you as a reinforcement to respawn

That's why you set it to friends only.

It's fun to grief a little but ultimately people get back to business once they get it out of their system.

I left Borst bleeding on the planet while I took off in the escape shuttle by way of shotgun to the face.

In my defense though, he stabbed me in the neck moments before.
