Which Tablet?

7 inch tablets are great. They have a convenient size and great performance and surfing the web is smooth. I would go with 7 inch tablets. I could name a few you might be interested in, but that still depends on your budget. If you are willing to go till $200-$250, I would recommend the Nexus 7, but there are even cheaper tablets which should do their job. If I can help in any other way, I will be glad to do so. I will suggest going for Samsung Tablet 10.1 I think it can be best suit for your requirements....

I would also recommend the Nexus 7. I use that tablet and it is really good. Right now I am in the middle of an app development for Android. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 would also be a good choice.

I don't think I wouldn't recommend the kindle fire as it cheap and has a bad design and not very user friendly.

Although it's not on your list, I would highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. Cheap price and great capabilities!
