Were i think the SN is it is not. and i have looked everywhere on and in the tablet and cant find it. I'll just survive with what i got until i can buy a better one.

If you don't mind used, you can get a used Nexus 7 for fairly cheap. The 2012 model can be found for dirt cheap.

I have the 2012 model and use it all the time. And with the Nexus 9 coming out soon, the prices for the 7 (and possibly the Nexus 10) might drop even more.
