L4D Freezing?!

So I have had some bad freezes where I have to hard reboot. It usually happens on loading screen in L4d and most of the time on loading screens when the overlay is up. Why is it doing this? as you see in my sig I shouldn't be having these problems. Only happends in l4d. Steeam issue, windows 7issue or hw issue?

Are there any patches for L4D out? You might want to check that and dl them if they're there.
If that fails, download the latest drivers from nVidia.
If that fails, go for a reinstall of the game

You have to wait a few minutes. Sometimes Left 4 Dead can take a long time to load, and it sometimes seems like it crashed, but it really didn't.
