How to stop IE from asking this question?

When I type a single word in the address textbox, I always intend to search. Every one I know in my organisation does the same. So how to stop IE from asking if we'd like to open a site? See the attached screenshot.

This is just the opposite. It for people who want to answer yes by default to the question on the screenshot, and I'm yet to meet one of them.

Use said instructions, but disable the option or set the registry entry to 0 instead of 1.

It should be 0 to negate going to site. Now the question is not coming .. maybe IE needed to get restarted. Thanks,

Does your place allow Firefox? If so, I would use that. Should be on the secured list of browser sites to use if your work is one of those kind of places.
