Warhead? Please - it had nothing on the original Crysis.
It was prettier.
It was more optimized tho - original Crysis was a bit of a mess, which is one of the reasons it was a beast to run.

What? I get over 100 @ 1080p with AA on. Crysis wasn't so much unoptimized as it was wayyyy ahead of it's time. Cryengine since the first iteration has always been bleeding edge. I mean, look at how good Crysis 3 looks in comparison to the bull**** being rushed out today. Cryengine 2 also introduced a metric **** ton of new graphical techniques that never existed previous to it and the release of the 8800GTX. The worst part about that whole deal is the first Crysis graphically was scaled back quite a bit because we simply didn't have the hardware capable of pushing what the engine could deliver.
Edit: Fun fact, Dunia was derived off of Cryengine 1.
