Audigy 2 ZS Question...

Hello Evryone from Tech forums,

ok here is wat i want to know..
i have an Audigy 2 ZS sound card, cost me $100
I have a Plantronics Audio .90 Headset.....
i want the Best Sound Quality when playing my games and doing other stuff what do i do to get the BEST out of my sound card?.. plz help.. i used to have a sound blaster 16 pci.. and i upgraded to this one and the sound quality still sounds the same..
What settings do i put.. wat do i connect wat do i do?

most of the time, upgrading to a new card isn't going to make a dramatic difference with the same speakers. the speakers are the most critical point (equipment) in determining sound quality.


I didn't buy my sound card for sound quality, bought it because my old stock sound card only supports 2 channel and i needed one that works with my 7.1.


also, play around with creative labs' software program. most of the time, the default EQ setting is on flat. adjust it accordingly to your ears until you like it.

Yea, you can try what "gsteg" told you. What I think is this: Headsets have their quality at one level and even if you get a better sound card, the quality still stays the same because it's what the headset goes up to. Hope that makes sense.
