ccna is nothing. CCNP is where you get noticed. ccna is better then net+ though. A+ tests are like $100 each MCSE tests are $125 each x7 CCNA has 2 tests i dont know the cost

mack, what certs do you hold? A+ / Net + are very basic entry level certs. If you have 12 years of xp, that would mean much more to a employer

if you have a good understanding of cisco and network topics going in, then sure. Why not just go get some training videos off the internet and study and learn. CCNA is really basic. CCNP on the other hand is not.
