xperia x2 with linux?!

I got this ericson xperia x2 mobile phone as a gift. Now I was wondering if there was a way to put linux on it. I have never put linux on a mobile device before so this is all going to be new for me. I have checked the net a bit but there are no entries for this type of phone with linux on it so I was wondering if any one has any experience with this model.

As far as I could find, they couldn't get Android on the X2. Apparently the X1 worked with Android 2.1...but the X2 doesn't for some reason.

You could always find a cooked rom for Windows Mobile on XDA Developers, though.
