Norton is a virus.

True, but Symantec Antivirus =/= Norton Antivirus. Symantec is a corporate one, that's actually good, from what I hear =P.

Sadly when Norton is the only option. It is the best option when things like this hit. Maybe it can protect the users from getting infected. I have already had 2 Mac users tell me they were infected by this.

Avast has a mac AV program it's quite good from the reviews i have read.

Well i did not know that Avast also had one out there. I would use that only cause i trust Avast over Norton anyday.

Yea it's a nice little AV program, works as well as there windows version.
