Text to speak

Not really a tech person just somebody with a question I thought I could get some help on here, I want to be able to text from my phone to a device that speaks my text on its own without the assistance of somebody pressing a button to acknowledge that it has a text waiting, and I want this because my daughter is handicapped and I want to be able to text her

You could use the text to speech but that would require interaction-


you can try ReadItToMe or an app like that- there are several on the store-

Well would that require a cell phone on the other end I have a Android my daughter does not have a cell phone is what they're using is a Amazon Echo which requires them to seeing flashing or hear it and then press the button I kind of wanted something to just announced text message and then speak it I could just be dreaming though it might not be anything out there

as far as i know the Echo does not have the ability to automatically read text messages.

You could develop that and sell it, great idea. There are similar apps to help non verbal autistic people.
