norton av isnt the av software id choose or that i run i have mcafee and have very little trouble with speed of laptops x 3, server or pc

my partner has put antivurus stuff on my laptop I think its mcafee or Microsoft im not sure he did try Norton and it kept locking my laptop up too much. I only had my laptop bought for me for Christmas so only really started getting into computers in the last 12 months or s so not really that clued up.

Seriously, Norton and Intel Security (Mcafee is really dead) are 2 of the worst AV solutions. Anytime customers have a problem, the underlying problem is typically one of these two programs. Anybody who doesn't believe me can Google it.

Saw that too. Dunno why Norton/Symantec wasn't on the list last December
they have their other tests that are newer they do throughout the year tho too.

I don't even bother with antivirus anymore, actually for years. Only thing I run is Malwarebytes Premium.

Seems like I'm going to be moving clients away from Avast and over to Avira now. I wonder if BitDefender Free uses the same engine as BitDefender paid...

I see that Bitdefender came out on top as golden boy for 2014.
