What is the advantage if any, of installing IPSsec on a Windows Server while using PPTP on the client side for the explicit use of Remote Desktop?
In additon to using IPSec on the server, if I wanted to install IPSec on the client side, how would I accomplish this (please, no third party software).
I'd also like to know if there are any other ports that need to be opened beside 50. 51 and 500.
Lastly, I tried to follow this site (below) for setting up Windows Server 2012, and tried unsuccessfully to do the same with Windows 7. Can I do this the same way in Windows 7? Please help.
