New Xbox 360 Compatibility Issue

I agree with Mak on this. I have a 360 and a ps3 and after a year or so of use both machines have between 15 and 30gb of game updates and other data. It will be more or less impossible to support a decent game library on a 4gb Xbox.

well my bil got this for free from the laptop deals that was going around, i think he's just gonna sell it and get a ps3, kinda sucks paying for live and watching netflix hd.

I would just go online and buy a used 20GB hard drive from an Xbox 360 Pro. I got an Xbox 360 S 4GB and used my old 20GB HDD in it until the local store got a 250GB drive that could be taken from an older model.

How could you have possibly done that? The interfaces and caddies for the drive are completely different between the Slims and originals. Unless you separately bought a caddy for it, and transplanted the drive from the old caddy to the new.
This is the original hard drive

The 20GB HDD's that came with the Xbox 360 Premiums were SATA hard drives... I just took the 20GB drive from the case and put it in my 4GB Xbox 360 S, I had to use some non conductive material to prop it up a bit but it worked fine.
