GTA SA Windowed Mode?

I'd like to be able to play GTA SA in windowed mode, but there isn't an option for it... Is there any way I can do it, without mods? I've tried a mod for it, but after installing it to the game, it wouldn't start.

For those who the game crashes with d3d9.dll, try to delete Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files/gta-sa.set

I uhh dont think it worked... I did everything right, according to the readme file. But it still loads in fullscreen...

According to that it's supposed to add the option of window mode.

I've looked through the settings, still no option for windowed mode.
