Does this look like the doing of a virus?

Please respond, its been like this for a couple of days, and at first, it seemed to be taking my internet in and out while laptops were fine! I have a Windows XP and this is looking like a Windows 98! Virus? Hardware Failure? Please opinion and what everyone thinks, thanks!

Change the theme of windows xp to xp theme in the control panel. To be sure, run a highjack and post the log in here

I did change the theme, but whenever I restart the computer it will make it windows classic again, even though I have the process to automatically use the XP theme...I don't know how to run a hijack though if you could explain. I'm gonna call a guy up and probably send the computer in to him, its been like this for 5 days now
