A sneaky, and annoying virus

So, System Restore was never on to begin with, and when I tried to turn it on and make my first restore point, it gave me the following error message:

The Restore point could not be created for the following reason:

Insufficient storage available to create either the shadow copy storage file or other shadow copy data (0x8004321F)

Please Try again

Other various apps found that there was not sufficient data to do stuff (Including Norton 360).

I originally put this down to the virus being annoying, but now that you've said I'm clean, maybe it's something else?

Srry... I was rushing off to dinner when I typed that...

Firstly, I never had system restore on to begin with. So, when I went into the System Protection window to turn it on, and create a restore point*, it gave me the following error message:

The Restore point could not be created for the following reason:

Insufficient storage available to create either the shadow copy storage file or other shadow copy data (0x8004321F)

Please Try again

Rather annoying really.

Other applications are giving me lack-of-storage problems also. I put this down to the virus in the past, however.

*Specifically when it was trying to create the restore point itself. It was mid restore point creation.
