Is that the Source port of Descent? I've heard of it but never played it. Might check it out. Yea, it's a bit old, but it still gets the job done. I'll probably upgrade my system in the next year or so.

I remember playing Descent a long time ago. It was a sick game for its time. I can only imagine how sweet this would be with Oculus Rift.

I've had this problem before. My download caps at ~320 kbps but Steam would report files being downloaded at about double that. One thing I noticed is that the download speed displayed when hovering my mouse over the system tray icon on my task bar would report the speed at my usual download cap.
