hey guys .. i have ubuntu gusty installed on my laptop . the thing is .. when i first installed ubuntu the the wireless was enabled and everything worked fine ... but i restarted my laptop and now it says that i can only choose wired connection and the wireless icon is disabled .. what could've...

no dude its a direct DSL cable to my laptop , but my laptop has wireless ,and so does the other laptop , now im trying to connect the other laptop to mine through wireless connection and while its connected i can use the internet through both laptops using my main connection to my laptop

we r not using a wireless router ... its a normal one (dsl) and we want to connect the other through wireless !

hey guys .. heres my problem my linux opensuse cant find any wireless device although it works fine under windows .. my wireless device is a toshiba one,so f any of u have a way to make it detect it or find the device or like have a driver for it so the system would recognize it plz post bk..

hey ... guys i have files like .avi and .wma that i really need to run under linux (opensuse ) does anyone know a program that can these kinds of files ?? like in windows i used to use a program called k lite .. is there something similar ??
