Wireless Keeps Dropping Only On 1 Network

It wasn't just a simple reboot....at best, it seems there must have been some data garbage on the T1 lines. It worked for a short time then I had issues again. Then, we had an accidental power loss to the T1 lines by an AT&T tech who was installing a router for us yesterday in preparation for...

Wireless Keeps Dropping Only On 1 Network

It's not the AP's, as I had the same issue in different parts of the building. But, our corporate office informed me that they rebooted our campus server and TMG due to long replication delay early this morning and I was able to login on both the laptop and my cell phone this morning, so guess...

Wireless Keeps Dropping Only On 1 Network

All I have is my cell phone, but it is doing something similar on it, too...acts like it connects but won't load a web page in a browser - it should at least get to a splash screen to login to the Guest network... And I tried a reservation in DHCP for the laptop but still the same.

Wireless Keeps Dropping Only On 1 Network

Oh, no...I've tried the drivers, too - both "automatic" (frustrating) and manually installing via the several different versions I have. I can use my phone's hotspot with the adapter just fine, too...(no matter which driver is installed). I really suspect something on the server, but not sure...

Wireless Keeps Dropping Only On 1 Network

Hard to say, as I'm the only one using it right now...I'll have to see if I can find some other devices to connect to it to test.

Wireless Keeps Dropping Only On 1 Network

My Broadcom 802.11n wireless network adapter keeps dropping only on one particular network...our guest network at work, which it has previously worked on just fine. Sometimes flushing the DNS will buy me a few minutes. Sometimes uninstalling the adapter itself and rebooting might work...

How can I customize Windows Explorer to have a Session Manager?

Like a tab manager in a browser, but for Windows Explorer? I want to have a one-click open to open multiple windows (for when I'm working on some graphic design projects and have multiple windows to go back and forth in or moving around files).

Outlook 2010: Users Aren't Appearing As Desired In Search

The other two options were fine - rebuilding her profile did the trick. Thanks!

Outlook 2010: Users Aren't Appearing As Desired In Search

I have one Outlook 2010 user who has a couple of new employees that aren't appearing as desired in Outlook search. The user is unable to pull up "Jane Jackson" (names changed to protect the innocent ;) ) by first name in the GAL. Jane also does not pull up in GAL if the user uses Advanced Find...

    Windows Live Gallery sucks CPU

@~Darkseeker~ How will that do what Photo Gallery does? @Lennox Although I could use ACDSee instead, I see some things I like in Photo Gallery better, so that's not an option. But thanks for the useless info!

    Windows Live Gallery sucks CPU

I would love to use Windows Live Gallery, unfortunately, it sucks all CPU (97%-100%) and disconnects me from my wireless (likely due to sucking my resources). It also keeps prompting me to install Quick Time to view certain files, even though QT is already installed! Any suggestions? Thanks! ~Tina

Powerpoint 2007 won't open in Vista

Nope...interestingly enough, Office is not listed there! PP Viewer 07 and 97 are (needed for Media Shout presentation software), but no Office in sight! Hmmm...I don't understand...the program is activated and legit and runs otherwise...weird! I think maybe I'll try reinstalling it.

As in, does a window appear for it? No.

Powerpoint 2007 won't open in Vista

Powerpoint 2007 won't open in Vista I have been using Office '07 on XP fine for years, but we have a (fairly new, @ 4 months old) laptop with Vista Home Premium SP2 and Powerpoint won't open when double-clicking an existing PP file. PP opens, as in the process is running in Task Manager, but...
