Hello,
My HP laptop has been experiencing a few OS and related software glitches lately, and I thought it was time for a fresh start. But rather than use OS recovery software that is available I would prefer to do a complete format and reinstall Windows XP as if I am starting right back from the beginning again.
My laptop came with a Windows XP installation CD as well as a driver CD. The only thing is, I am not sure how to sucessfully format my computer. In the past I have done so, but the result has been less than desired and I ended up with remants of my old system all over the place. Any help or pointers would be much appreciated!
