| xp service pack 3 A couple of other people have posted this before, but couldn't provide any links. Is this an actual service pack 3? I know it isn't out yet, but here it is. Here is where I found xp service pack 3 http://www.download.com/Office-XP-Se...ml?tag=lst-0-4
all the user reviews are good too. |

| No. SP3 is not out and is not real. the SP3 they are refering to is from TheHotFix.net which is full of spyware.
XP SP3 is not in production nor is it even in Beta Testing yet. It wont be till after Vista gets released. So anything you see or read before it use at your own risk as it is not real and not licensed or endorsed by M$.

"Naming them would either make it clear that Linux is not infringing at all (which is quite possible, especially if the patents are bad), or would make it possible to avoid infringing by coding around whatever silly thing they claim,"
"So the whole 'We have a list and we're not telling you' should tell you something. Don't you think that if Microsoft actually had some really foolproof patent, they'd just tell us and go, 'nyaah, nyaah, nyaah!'?"

| Both sites had Office XP SP3.
Microsoft is probably not making a Service Pack 3, because they will stop supporting XP in a few years, it's already 4-years old. |
