Default XP Pro memory requirements?

What's about the bare minimum about of Ram you should have to run XP Pro? The system I am working on won't be used for much more then internet surfing and CD burning. It's a 2.2ghz P4.

Thanks!

minimum 128MB, or 64MB without enhancements.

There are ways to make XP less of a pig.

We are talking about reality. With 64/128 XP SP2 will run like ***. 256mb is the bare minimum in my book. 512 is recommended.

Thanks, I'll try it with 256mb and add more if it's really necessary.

without any service packs, 128MB would be acceptable.
