Default XP Logging in problems

Hey Forums.

After many frustrations with the blue screen of death (BAD_POOL_HEADER), I decided to find a solution to it. So I checked up on this website, and did all the instructions onto my desktop, and now it won't work.

(URL to website: BAD_POOL_HEADER Blue Screen of Death -- fix found - Parallels Forums)

I deleted some of the things they told me to delete, like the LowerFilters, and the UpperFilters. I rebooted, and now when I try and log in, after a few seconds, I see my desktop background, and then it logs off back onto the Log-in menu (where you enter your username and password). I can't log in either with safe mode.

I also tried a System Recovery. I used System Utilities 7, and booted it from the start-up menu. I tried a system recovery from the last checkpoint, and i got a message saying that no registry values were found.

So I came here to see if I did something wrong?, And how do I get those registry values that I deleted back onto my computer?

Thanks,
Josh

Once the Registry Values are deleted there is no getting them back unless you made a backup. Your best option will be to try a Repair install.
