I use Adobe Camera Raw to edit digital photographs. In a single editing session, I will open and close ACR many times. Thus it is important that Windows remember which screen (on a dual-screen setup) and where on the screen I want it opened. But it does not. What do I have to do to make Windows remember?

Note that Windows does correctly remember where I want all other programs opened, and that other users of ACR report that Windows remembers where to open it for them. There is apparently no way in ACR to specify where to open it, so I am guessing that some Windows (registry?) setting has gotten corrupted and needs to be reset.

Once you get the program to where you want it, hit F11 TWICE. It will take it to full screen then back to the windowed mode. This should work.

Thanks, Mak213. F11 doesn't have any effect in Adobe Camera Raw. ACR does have its own button to toggle full-screen mode, but doing as you suggest doesn't force it to remember where it was and open there the next time.

Does anyone know where Windows stores this information?
