Default word 2000 error

I'm getting the following error when trying to save microsoft word doc.

appname:winword.exe Appver 9.0.0.2717 modname hpzm312.dll
modver 2.335.5.0 offset:00046083

What would cause it and how would I fix it please? I'm using office 2000.

TIA

You may want to try opening WORD in Safe mode, and if that doesnt work, you may want to repair or reinstall office.

Actually hp had me d/l a patch because I couldn't print from the internet....glc...do I need to update the drivers on the PC in which the printer is housed on becuase it is NOT housed on this printer. I only d/l the file from hp on the shared pc.

I've also tried reinstalling office but I keep getting a message of "unable to access config. for ms web server".

Does the file work properly on another machine? It could just be the file.
