wont power up windows xp

hello im new to this so im hoping someone can help me lately my computer has been running slow when i change sites .the odd time i get a warning message on my task bar telling me low cpu usage and now the last few days when i press the button to start the computer it will be dead for 5 minutes then start up by itself...im running windows xp thx for reading and more thx if u have any idea lol

Use OpenOffice. That can open it.
