Default WMP11 beta .AVI error
I was trying out the site Keepvid.com (downloading a Google video site and watching it on WMP11 beta) but when I try to play the AVI file it says it needs a codec. When I serached the site that they say to check, I couldn't find anything.

Any help would be appreciated!

wmp 11 don't like played downloaded movies (that it detected that you downloaded) like divx and xvid. that why I went back to wmp 10

Ok, I installed the DivX pack and ran Gspot. It says I have the right codecs. It still won't play in WMP 11 so I tried the DivX PLayer and that seems to work. I don't watch many AVI files so I think this will work.

the new windows stuff (especially vista ) is true spyware. that's why you can't watch it
