Rite so heres my setup...
Im using vista ultimate on my desktop. Im running VMware so i can have windows xp pro, which works fine. Im using VMware because i have a USB mp3 mixer that doesnt yet work with vista. So, i plugged the device in, it was deteced in vmware and started searching for a driver. Half way through i got a bandwidth error in Vista and the setup was canceled. Now everytime i plug it in, in XP it says - operation failed. How do i delete the drivers from the XP machine so i can try again as i have fixed the bandwidth problem?? Ive tried going into device manager, but the usb device isnt listed anywhere....

You might have to use a Restore point on the XP Setup to go back before the error. IF the drivers are not showing up in the device manager there isnt much you can do. Unless you know exactly what driver and name it is to try and delete it from the driver store.
