At this point there really isn't a reason to use Xp x64. Windows 7 64bit has far better support, security, and would last much longer.

Also it isnt XP x32....it is either XP x86 or XP X64. 32 Bit is the x86 version. It is based off of the first Intel based CPU's which were 8086, 80186, 80286, 80386. So that is where the 32 Bit got it acronym from.

Honestly today the main reason to run 64 Bit, is to run it. 32 Bit is technology from the 80's. If you have the capability to run 64 Bit then there is no reason not to. It is what the future holds for PC's. With rumors starting up that there is a 128 Bit OS in the works, staying with 32 Bit is just silly.

XP X64 is based off of Server 2K3 and very secure and stable. With the release of Win7 now, it is silly not to go with it if you can. It is a superior OS.
