Default Windows XP USer Account

I recently recovered my pc... but left my user account password protected. normally you can just copy the data into a new folder to solve the problem, but since it was password protected that method will not work. I just wanted to know if any of you know a way that I can salvage my account. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Microcenter uses a software to decrypt your password.. im not sure whats the software is called but they decrypted my dads laptop drive and backed it up to a cd for him.

thank you for taking the time to reply. I actually found a method to take care of this problem though (quick huh). I just went and set the folder and its contents to full control under a new account in teh security tab then replaced a new account with the old account, fixing the problem.
