Default Which Windows XP to get???

Here's what I have to choose from:

Windows XP Pro Corp
Windows XP Pro Retail
Windows XP Pro OEM
Windows XP Home Retail
Windows XP Home OEM
Windows XP Media Center 2005
Windows XP Tablet PC 2005

All have SP2

I'm thinking XP Pro Corp...

Its really up to you and what you plan on doing. I personally would just go with Home Retail or Pro Retail. You can always run with linux

I have XP Pro but wish I had the Win Media Center Edition. I want to record a couple fav TV shows and that would help ..... I guess. I don't have a TV tuner in my present computer.
It's almost 4 yrs old.

I'd say read what each offers differently from the others and base your decision on what you want/need. With Win Media Center costing a couple dollars more than Win XP, I would buy Win Media Center as I do use it to record/pause live TV. Just know that Win Media Center can "only" be purchased as OEM, but that is not a problem.

off-topic, but is Windows Media Center Edition 64 bit allowing like 128gb of ram or is it 32 allowing only 4gb? What operating systems are 64bit?
