Default windows xp backup utility

Hi everyone. I just completed a backup of my profile on Windows xp. It finished. Unfortunately, I cannot use the scheduler in the Windows Backup Utility. I receive an error message: An error has occurred while attempting to set task account information. The specific error is 0X8007005. Each time I type in my password for the system I receive this error message. I cannot understand why for I am the administrator of the pc. I have browsed the internet for a solution, but after two hours. Can anyone assist me with this dilemma? Any help will be appreciated. maryhigginsrice

Default Re: windows xp backup utility

seems to be problem creating any scheduled tasks.

HelpLine: Denied access to scheduled tasks

there's a couple fixes in there

i would prolly download another backup utility. one that uses xp's volume shadowing.

we use syncback in the office. SyncBack - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com
