Default Windows xp to 98Se

I have just installed Windows xp pro onto another computer, to see how it works before buying (it's on a 30-day trial thingy). It has prooven to be way too slow and useless. So I want to uninstall it. Only problem is, I do not want to format the hard-disk. I was wondering if it was possible to uninstall windows xp pro and install windows 98 se, which ran a lot more smoothly.

BTW, The pcs specs:

P3 500 MHZ
192MB ram
20gig HD

Any qusitions just ask

Thanks

You can, but you will loose all files on the partition/HD where XP is installed.

im sure if you were to add a little more Ram to your machine, you would get a better result out of XP

I second that. XP need a minium of 512 to run properly. it will work with 256 or less but as soon as you add microsoft word and an antivirus and firewall, your computer resoucres start to get use up and it get goofy and slow
