Default Windows Vista finding my DVD drive as a floppy drive.

I can't seem to figure this one out, but no matter what I try, Windows Vista is finding my NEC-DVD/CD drive as a floppy drive. When I uninstall it and ask it to find new hardware, it finds it as a floppy again. Its connected via IDE, and its the only IDE connection I have. Anyone have any idea what may be going on, or how I can fix it?

Thanks
