Some one told me that the gadgets on the vista sidebar are xml applications. I thought XML is just a markup language which is used for displaying stuff.
how then is the clock or the mosaic game (for examples) on the vista sidebar done in xml?
I know this cause i am in a quite a few tech sites. Along with knowing about 100 people in the beta that have inside sources from M$. Plus i am a news posted at quite a few sites so i have to make sure i know about the latest and greatest news.

That site would have that info for you.

I thought that Vista was supposed to be so much harder to pirate. lol

I'm going to get it through my MSDN subscription at school as soon as it comes out for us subscribers.

It is supposed to be harder to crack...that is why i find this so funny. They found a way to use the CPP keys to get it fully activated and operational.

Here's a video comparing Windows XP sounds and the official Windows Vista sounds.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05gheT0hKSs

The Vista sounds are so light sounding compared to the XP sounds.

Vista vs. Leopard
ITWorld has a quick rundown on some of the more prevalent features of these respective Operating Systems and how they stack up in a head-to-head comparison.

At its recent WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference), Apple sought to steal some of Microsoft's thunder by releasing just enough details of its next OS (operating system), Leopard, to make an early comparison to the forthcoming Windows Vista possible. Staying true to form, then.

Windows Vista RTM Leaked
It looks as though the final version of Windows Vista may have already found its way onto illegal file sharing sites. IÂ’m sure this has crackers salivating.

Earlier we've seen reports about how early builds of Windows Vista have found their way onto the filesharing networks and now an anonymous source confirms that the final RTM version has as well.

Vista s probably going to be like the titanic, they say it is uncrashable but someone will find a way to make a super virus and no one will believe it until they lose everything on their computer.
