i can get photoshop and Nero, for 1$ in my country, and why should i waste 600$ on windows vista, i can get here a non-legidit windows vista for less than 1$. Even if visita ultimate is 100$, it is still very expensive for me.

its not about paying less, its about having ethics.

people think that PS and Nero were made in a few days. it takes months, if not years, of working on a program to get it to work how you want. I used to steal software until i started trying to make it (true story)

Longhorn is the BETA/preview version of Windows XP.

Windows Vista is what will be released in about one year.

longhorn is the codename, basically, vista beta 2 is the improved version with more (or less in some cases) features. all of the major stuff was not done with longhorn, but now with vista, most, if not all, of the main stuff is done. Now they just have to make some executive desicions as to what to include and what not to include. Also, they have to do a little fine tuning with things, like some icons integrated into the shell(?) are still really sloppy and stuff

@ericB - im all for making a quick dollar here and there, but there is a limit. For example, i've posted workarounds to getting bear*hare pro for free, but never anything like made a keygen for windows and told people to donate and/or sell it.... money isn't everything, and i hope you have morals that will tell you that.

stealing is wrong. i will admit, i still do it for SOME things, maybe i just want to get rid of some spyware, grab a serial from freeserials.com (not literally) to get rid of the virus... this is all temporary stuff though.

i wouldnt say thats our moto either... it may be something people pick up, but not a motto... America, in terms of the whole make money however thing, is just like other countries. What is the difference between Germany and America's people that make us get rich any way we want and them not?? ...and dont say something dumb like "americans are greedy" without explaining yourself
