i just tried Vista Beta 2 out on two systems, mine and my friends.

I have 64MB graphics chipset.

My friend has a 4MB graphics chipset.

Both computers were sluggish.

But you have to remember that it is still in Beta form. That means that it still uses more resources than a final OS. Heck Vista is kinda sluggish on my system@ 3.4GHz HT, 2GB DDR2 RAM, and a 256MB Vid Card.

That is why were are still Beta testing it. So they can get the demands down. Your best bet is to run the Advisory tool and see how you fair. Integrated GFX will not be that great but you still maybe able to run Vista.

According to the Official Windows Vista site, Windows Vista Beta 2 is now available for IT professionals and developers with MSDN and TechNet subscriptions. In the coming weeks, Microsoft will start the Windows Vista Customer Preview Program (CPP) for developers and IT professionals who are not members of the subscription services.

The Windows Vista CPP will also be available to technology enthusiasts that want to install and test a copy of Windows Vista Beta 2. You can get a head start on your Windows Vista CPP preparation by visiting the Get Ready section of this site and downloading the Windows Vista Product Guide.

To coincide with the release of Windows Vista Beta 2, both ATI and nVidia have released updated drivers for the new beta 2 build of Windows Vista. The new nVidia driver includes the new nVidia Control Panel. Both drivers can be downloaded from the links below.
