look at my signature for my computer specs. Basically here is what happens, I sleep then the next morning my computer gets hella sluggish from leaving my computer on for the whole night. Any idea what causes this? A normal fix is just a simple restart

Vista does tasks at low processing times. So if you don't use your computer for say two hours or during a specific time of day/night (IE when you are sleeping and there is inactivity) it will run diagnostics things like defrag. Your AV may be doing the same thing.
