Default Windows Server Codenamed

Windows Server Code Name "Longhorn" Beta 3 has been released to the general public. "Longhorn" Server comes in three editions; Standard, Enterprise, and Datacenter. Each edition has both a 32bit and 64bit version. All editions are available in three different languages; English, German, and Japanese.

According to AeroXperience, the milestone Core now includes 8 available roles. The available roles are:

- Active Directory
- Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services
- DNS
- DHCP
- File/Print
- Windows Media Services
- Terminal Services Easy Print, Remote App, and Gateway
- Virtualization

This release is also said to include the new Windows PowerShell.
