Question Windows Media Player 11

Whenever i load up a file it takes like a 1/2 a minute to load up !
Anyone know why this is happening how can i fix this?

scan for viruses/spyware?

do other programs take long to load?

yeah is it only that or does it also do that for other programs? might be because of the music file size? is it for all videos/audio?

is this in xp or vista?

Xp had no prob with 11 but vista likes to take it's time

I have over 25,000 songs. wmp accesses the internet to retrieve media info. wmp 11 does it and it doesn't act right until it's done. wmp 10 does it in the background, so it loads up faster

yeahh you should get wmp10. it has less problems and is pretty mich the same.
