WINDOWS installation

HI i was wondering if I install windows xp first and windows 98 second but keep the partition active where windows xp is, how can i get the boot loader menu to display both OS so i can dual boot?

PS. I know that the bios goes into the mbr first then goes to the active partition and looks for the ntldr wich reads the boot.ini file for other OS`. when it sees a windows 9x os it reads the bootsect.dos to locate the io.sys. Can the boosect.dos file be edited so it knows where the other os files are? Or if it doesn`t exist create one?

I already added the c:\bootsect.dos="windows 98" to the boot.ini file and I got the menu but when a clicked on win 98 it didnt work!

Edit the Boot.INI file in Windows.

Start -> Run -> Type "msconfig" -> Go to the Boot.ini tab.
