windows firewall down?
basically, i don't know if its always been liek this, but i can't activate my firewall. i recently got rid of some trojans so i don't know if i affected this somehow, or if its always been like this.

Read the top:
"For your security, some settings are controlled by Group Policy".
Try logging in as an administrator with full priviledges.

my user account is the computer administator.

Im not sure what else to say, it looks like you have some settings disabled, check to see if you really have all your admin settings.

Click Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts
Search for your usename, and it will say "limited account" or "System Administrator"

read through both of those but can't find how to actually access group policy. gpedit.msc apparently is an outdated command.
