Default Windows firewall

ok i cant open windows firewall to change the setting and i dont know why
a few days ago i could open the windows firewall control center but i couldn't disable and i want to lol
can anyone help me please!

What Windows OS (XP Home, Pro, 2003)? Is your account part of the Administrative group? more information please.

you are probably on a network, and group policy is not allowing that
log in as an admin, or contact the network admin, to update the policy

report back if that isn't the case

it is a home computer i am administrator i have widows xp home edition sp2
