Okay, this is starting to drive me crazy...
A couple weeks ago while I was away, a family member did a Windows Update that started a problem. Whenever I'm browsing through "My Computer" or "My Documents" or anything with Windows Explorer, everything opens in a new window. By the time I've gotten to the file I want, I have to spend the next 7 minutes closing out windows that opened.
I thought about doing a roll back or restore or whatever Windows calls it, but several updates have been done since the one that caused the problem.
I'm pretty computer savvy, so I'm open to any advice.
Also, I'm 100% that the Browse Folders under Folder Options is set to: "Open each folder in the same window".
I've also noticed that folders only open in a new window when I double click them. If I right-click and click open, it opens in the same window.
Any advice?
