| Windows Cursor Patch Causing Trouble News.com says that the newly released patch for the Windows cursor flaw is not compatible with Realtek audio and networking components. Oops. "Apparently the update is not compatible with Realtek," CNET News.com reader Dave House wrote in an e-mail. "We lost all Ethernet and audio functions. Removing the update and doing system restores brought the systems back." |

| Yep i had that same problem, but they came up with a fix for the illegal system dll relocation which i had. The Realtek HD Audio Control Panel may not start, and you receive an error message when you start the computer: "Illegal System DLL Relocation" EDIT: I only had the Illegal System dll relocation error. Everything still worked it was just an annoying pop up every time i started my pc. |
