"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file"

Hi everyone. Bit of a problem
I just restarted my computer and now that its rebooted when i ty and run a certain program i get this error message

""Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file" You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the file"

I dont know why it has happened but when i tried to reinstall it Winxp said that
"An error occured when trying to copy the file
System error message : Access is denied"

Does anyone know why this is happening and any suggestions on how to fix the problem

are you downloading it of the net

Check to make sure that you have permissions to the file. If you're an administrator on the machine, you should be ok, but check just to be sure.

If you are an administrator, try taking ownership of the file.
