So I just got done installing Windows 7. Someone told me to install system mechanic to optimize internet and registry errors...etc.

I installed it, and wow... almost 300 registry errors. I didn't click "fix it" yet. I am wondering if that can be true...or if I'll screw up the registry / windows 7 if I do "fix it".

seams to run fine. I can't find anything wrong with my system, but it looks lik system mechanic does...
I do like the option to clean up RAM. not sure what good it does, but it sounded good.

any advice on that?

Probably not worth doing. Any performance benefit from doing that will be unnoticeable, and if it works fine without using this cleaner then not worth it IMO.

Thanks! Yes, I am uninstalling it right now.
There is no way my registry has over 300 errors.
